Ricardo Sarmiento Ramírez ist ein kubanisches Meereswesen, das sich zum Künstler:in und Forscher:in entwickelt hat und derzeit in Berlin lebt.

In ihrer Arbeit, die Theater, Performance, Text und ökologische Forschung miteinander verbindet, bewegt er/sie sich durch Landschaften, Körper und Geschichten und untersucht, wie sich Umweltgedächtnis, Migration und übermenschliche Beziehungen gegenseitig prägen.
